AUTO ACCIDENT RECOVERY IN CLEARWATER
When you’re in an auto accident, there are things to remember when it comes to treatment.
While many people are familiar with whiplash, some don’t realize trauma can occur in the neck, shoulders, knees and elbows. When this happens, the trauma causes damage to your tissues.
In most auto accident injuries your tissues repair themselves through scar tissue. Over time without care, however, you can experience accelerated degeneration in your body.
We’ll work to help you heal effectively, slowing degenerative problems that may occur down the road.
From the day you are in an accident, Florida statutes gives you 14 days to see any doctor (chiropractors included). If you don't see someone within 14 days, you lose the ability to seek treatment for your injuries.
If you visit Carlton Medical Center within those 14 days, we can care for you or refer you to an appropriate doctor for your Emergency Medical Condition (EMC) diagnosis.
Increase your coverage by seeing a doctor within 14 days and obtaining an EMC diagnosis. Doing this could increase your benefits from $2,500 to $10,000.
Whether you or a loved one has suffered an injury, we can help. We want to help you prevent injuries from worsening.
